FAQ: How much does it cost?
BISC is a not-for-profit club. Membership of the club costs €25 per year.
The costs for each event are determined by the organisation and hire costs. Typical hire costs are:
- one-day Sunday Sails: around €25 per person.
- weekend small-boat sailing: around €60 per person.
- weekend offshore yacht sailing: around €130 per person.
- weekend Dutch sailing barge cruise: around €130 per person.
Depending on the event, you may also need to allow some extra for food, hiring additional gear such as lifejackets, and a contribution to travel costs (ie: petrol, if car-pooling).
